Soul House Revival Sometimes things happen for a reason. The formation of this band brought together three fiercely independent souls whose only refuge was in the music they play. Raw , organic, and fresh describes the unique personality this band gives to its Muscle Shoals sound. Rooted in the soul grabbing music of those such as Wilson Pickett and Sam Cooke and fueled by the unrelenting energy found in George Clinton’s funk, Soul House Revival truly strives to reach deep within to bring you their music.

“Only together for six months, the local band has assembled an impressive batch of original songs“ said John Harper of Coast Magazine. With release of their EP Roots, the band shows its true musical fortitude. Phillip Alcock provides gritty soulful vocals to match his fat tones and funky grooves on the bass. Patrick Goller channels a combination of Neil Young’s sonic energy and Duane Allman’s soulful guitar to produce his own unique energy. Crashing away in the back is drummer Myles Wood, holding heavy sticks like Bonham, but quick and mad like Baker making him a firestorm behind the kit.

Soul House Revival is more than just a name , its an indication of where we have come from and a clue to where we may go.
